Privacy Policy
100Hero is built privacy-first. Your workout and health data is stored on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any third party. This policy explains exactly what the app does with data, in plain language.
What stays on your device (everything personal)
All of the following is stored locally on your iPhone or Apple Watch using Apple's Core Data and is never uploaded anywhere: your workout history, rep counts, and progression; body measurements; check-in responses and feelings entries; AI coaching insights (generated entirely on-device using Apple Intelligence or the app's built-in algorithm); heart rate readings displayed during workouts; and app settings and preferences. 100Hero has no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no server of its own.
HealthKit
With your permission, 100Hero reads heart rate data from Apple Health to display live heart-rate zones during workouts, and writes your workout sessions to Apple Health so they appear in the Fitness app. HealthKit data is used only for these features, stays on your device, and is never used for advertising or marketing, never shared with third parties, and never used for any purpose other than the app's fitness features. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app.
Camera and face tracking
During push-up tracking, 100Hero can use the front camera and Apple's face-tracking technology to measure the distance between your face and the phone in order to count reps. This processing happens entirely on-device in real time. No photos, video, or face data are ever recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Motion sensors
With your permission, 100Hero uses your device's motion sensors to automatically count exercise reps. Motion data is processed on-device and stored only as part of your local workout history.
Subscriptions (the only data that leaves your device)
Premium subscriptions are purchased through Apple and are subject to Apple's own privacy policy. To validate your subscription status, 100Hero uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase information: an anonymous app-generated identifier, your subscription status and purchase history for this app, and basic device information (such as device model and OS version). RevenueCat never receives your name, email, workouts, health data, or any other personal content. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. This data is used solely to deliver the subscription features you paid for.
What we don't do
100Hero contains no advertising frameworks, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. We do not sell, rent, or share your data — we never have it in the first place. The app's privacy manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking: false.
Backups and export
You can export your data (CSV or JSON, optionally encrypted) from Settings > Data Management. Export files are created locally and leave your device only if you explicitly share them. Your device's standard iCloud or local backup may include the app's data, under Apple's privacy terms.
Data retention and deletion
Because all personal data lives on your device, you are in full control: deleting the app deletes all of its data. Individual records can be deleted inside the app. There is nothing to delete on any server.
Children
100Hero is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region) and does not knowingly collect data from them — the app does not collect personal data from anyone.
Your rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws you have rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability. Since your data is stored only on your device, you exercise these rights directly: view and edit data in the app, export it from Settings, or delete the app. For anything related to RevenueCat's anonymous purchase records, contact us and we will assist.
Changes
If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
